Itinerary

Day 1Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park

Begin your adventure to Murchison Falls National Park at 7:00 am. Our driver/guide will pick you up from your lodge/hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the famous Luwero Triangle before heading to Masindi town for lunch at Court View Hotel, Kabalega Dinners, or Masindi Hotel. After a delicious lunch, continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Before crossing to the other side, visit the top of the falls and then cross the Nile with the ferry. Check in at your lodge, refresh, and await dinner and overnight at the renowned (Paraa Safari Lodge, Baker’s Lodge – Luxury, or Murchison River Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge – Mid-range budget).

Optional: Night Game Drive at US$200.00 for visitors staying at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Note: We recommend staying within the park for early morning game drives when animals are most active and chances of sightings are high.

Day 2 Full Day at Murchison Falls National Park

Embark on a morning game drive and an afternoon launch cruise on the Nile. After an early breakfast at around 6:30 am, set off for the game drive via Nyamsika Plateau, where you can spot the Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and Giraffes) as well as other wildlife. After lunch at the lodge, prepare for a boat launch trip up the Nile River, observing crocodiles, hippos, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, and various birds. The boat stops near the “Devil’s Cauldron” for picturesque views of Murchison Falls. Visit the top of Murchison Falls to witness the powerful flow and a herd of elephants. Return to the lodge for refreshments.
