Kevron African Safaris Terms and Conditions.

Booking and Reservations:

Reservations must be submitted in written form, and we encourage providing them with as much advance notice as possible. To confirm your booking, a non-refundable   deposit of 25 % per person per trip is required to secure your reservation. Please note that increased deposit requirements may apply for specific trips. Please note that for trips that are less than or equal to 2,500usd full payments are required to confirm the trip.

 For trips that include gorilla tracking, a separate payment of 700 usd for the gorilla permit is required in Uganda and is non-refundable, except for cancellations due to Pandemic Reasons.

1. Full payment is due 40 days prior to the safari start date.
2. All bookings are subject to availability, and confirmation will be provided upon receipt of full payment. Payments can be made via credit card and bank transfer Please ensure that all payments are made in the designated currency mentioned in the invoice.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Cancellations made 30 days before the safari start date are eligible for a 60% refund.  
2. Cancellations made 29-15 days are eligible to 40% refund, inclusive of the non-refundable deposit and transactional fees.
3. Cancellations made 15 days to the safari start date are non-refundable.
4. No refunds will be provided for missed or unused services once the safari has commenced.

Itinerary Changes:

1. Kevon African Safaris reserves the right to modify safari itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, road conditions, or other external factors.
2. Alternative arrangements of equal or greater value will be provided where necessary.

Travel Insurance:

1. It is strongly recommended that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
2. Kevron African Safaris is not responsible for any costs incurred due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances during the safari.

Health and Safety:

1. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for the safari, including required vaccinations.
2. Kevron African Safaris reserves the right to refuse service to any client deemed unfit or endangering the safety and well-being of themselves or others.

Wildlife Viewing:

1. Kevron African Safaris is committed to responsible wildlife viewing. Clients must adhere to all guidelines provided by guides and staff to minimize impact on the environment and wildlife.

Accommodations:

1. Accommodation details are subject to change based on availability, but clients will be informed of any changes in advance.
2. Special requests for accommodations should be made at the time of booking, but cannot be guaranteed.

Liability / Assumption of Risks and Responsibilities:

By joining our trip, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with travel, including but not limited to natural elements, civil unrest, and transportation hazards. You accept responsibility for your safety, understanding potential challenges like altitude, illness, and limited medical support.

Your commitment includes conducting yourself responsibly in the group and avoiding fraudulent representation of your fitness for the trip. By booking with us, you waive the right to legal action for compensation and acknowledge that travel involves unpredictable forces.

For wildlife or nature tours, outcomes depend on natural factors beyond our control. We bear no liability for costs, losses, or damages, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations mid-trip.Your engagement implies acceptance of these terms.

Exclusions in Safari Trip:

• International and Domestic Flights, Airfare to and from the safari destination is not included unless explicitly specified.
•   Visa[W1] and Entry Fees, Costs associated with visas, entry fees, and permits for national parks or reserves are excluded.
•   Travel Insurance, Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings is not included.
•   Personal Expenses, Expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, phone calls, alcoholic beverages, and additional activities not specified in the itinerary are not covered. 
•   Meals, unless explicitly mentioned, meals outside the specified itinerary are not included.
•     Tips and Gratuities, Tips for guides, drivers, and other service providers are not included unless otherwise stated.
•   Optional Activities, Costs associated with optional activities or excursions not included in the planned itinerary are excluded.
•   Medical Expenses, any medical expenses incurred during the trip, including but not limited to vaccinations and medication, are the traveler’s responsibility. 
•     Transportation Costs related to transportation not specified in the itinerary, such as airport transfers outside the designated arrival and departure times, are excluded.
•     Accommodation Upgrades, any additional costs associated with room upgrades or changes not included in the standard package are not covered.
•   Gorilla and Special Permits, Fees for activities requiring special permits, such as gorilla tracking, are excluded unless explicitly mentioned.
•     Unforeseen Expenses, any expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, political unrest, or personal emergencies, are not covered.

Surcharges Policy

We may apply surcharges up to 30 days before departure due to unfavorable exchange rates, increased airfares, transportation costs, local operator expenses, taxes, or government mandates. We cover the first 2% of additional costs; you’re responsible for the remainder. If any surcharge exceeds a 10% increase in the trip price, you can cancel within 5 days of notification and receive[W2]  a full refund.

Force Majeure:

• Kevron African Safaris is not liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government regulations. 

Governing Law:

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

By booking with Kevron African safaris, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Kevron African Safaris reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
