Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Kigali International Airport

Your Journey to Akagera national park will begin in Kigali. You will start your journey early and take 3 hours to drive to Akagera national park.

After lunch, you will embark on an evening game drive where you will get the opportunity to spot several animals such; Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Giraffes, Oribis, Topis, Waterbuck, Duiker, Klipspringer, Impala, and many other animals. Return to your lodge of preference for dinner and overnight.

Lodges such as; Magashi Lodge, Ruzizi Tented Camp, Karenge Bush Camp, Akagera game lodge as well as many others.

Day 2Start your day adventure in Akagera national park

After breakfast, take on an early morning game drive where you will see several animals grazing on the plains.

After lunch, embark on a boat trip on Lake Ihema where you will come across animals like hippos and crocodiles as well as many birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (FB).
